Downtown Sanford Cleanup this Weekend! 🚯

We're teaming up with Central Florida RECON and Keep Sanford Sparkling again for this weekend's cleanup in the St. Johns River's Middle Basin.

It's field trip season! 🛥️

We've been getting hundreds of kids out on the river to get a new perspective of their city, spot wildlife, and learn about river ecology, human impact, water safety and more!

We've been working behind the scenes to help protect our river from data centers in Putnam County.

We are concerned about the significant amount of land, water, and energy required to build and operate data centers and the substantial wastewater often produced that can contain treatment chemicals.

Clean Water is On the Ballot 💧 🇺🇸

Early voting opens today in some counties (Duval!), and opens everywhere Oct 24-31.

Make sure you check out what's going to be on your ballot in advance, and pay attention to who cares about preserving Florida and fighting for clean water.

💧St. Johns County and Marion County: Land Conservation Referendums

St. Johns and Marion county voters have the opportunity to vote in favor of land conservation.

💧Amendment 3: While none of us enjoys paying property taxes, we all want clean water and healthy rivers. Amendment 3 would potentially result in disastrous consequences for Florida’s environment and waterways.

Introducing local students to the St. Johns💧

Our education team regularly leads field trips on and around the river, educating students about the science of the river, its ecology and wildlife, and imparting on them an appreciation and respect for the river - and hopefully a desire to help protect it!

POISE, INC Professional Development - The NOW Club joined us for a guided hike and salinity testing recently at Blue Cypress Park.
