📒 Thursday, July 16th: Members night from 4pm to 8pm where members can fill a paper grocery bag (provided) for $12 and get one free. 2026 memberships are available for $25 at the door.

📕 Friday, July 17th: Open to everyone from 4pm to 8pm. You can fill a paper grocery bag (provided) for $15. Non-members - Buy 2 bags and get 1 bag free. Members - Buy 1 bag, get 1 bag free.

📗 Saturday, July 18th: Open to everyone from 10am to 3pm. You can fill a paper grocery bag (provided) for $15. Non-members - Buy 2 bags and get 1 bag free. Members - Buy 1 bag, get 1 bag free.

The Friends celebrated their 70th anniversary on June 13th. Games and prizes will continue throughout June. We have the best volunteers!!

Friends Of The Jacksonville Public Library are celebrating their 70th anniversary this month with special events and prizes. Stop by the bookstore at 3435 University Blvd N. to find great deals on books.

All month long: Spend $20 on bookstore items and spin the wheel for a prize.
On June 13th: guess the number of pennies for a prize.
Members of this Friends Group get BOGO on any store item all year long.

Save the date: The Big Bag Book Sale returns July 16-18. You can fill two paper bags full of books for $15 each and get a third bag free! For members, it's buy one bag, get your second free.

We are celebrating our 70th Anniversary the whole month of June at the Friends Bookstore.

Special events and prizes:
Scavenger Hunt: Search & Find the Bookstore areas and win a prize
Spin the Wheel: Spend $20 on bookstore items and spin the wheel for a prize
Guess the Pennies: June 13th guess the number of pennies for a prize

The Friends of the JPL continued to support the Library with another donation of $125,000 in 2026, which go to many programs like Summer Reading.
