This Senior Citizens Day, we’re celebrating the older adults who make our communities stronger through their stories, wisdom, resilience, and connection.

Affordable senior housing does more than provide a place to live—it gives older adults the opportunity to age with stability, dignity, and a community they can call home.

Today, and every day, we’re proud to celebrate the seniors who make our communities what they are.

Today, we celebrated a milestone years in the making.

Ability Housing officially celebrated the ribbon cutting of Village of New Augustine, a new affordable apartment community bringing safe, stable, and affordable housing to individuals and families in Northeast Florida.

This celebration would not have been possible without the vision, partnership, and perseverance of the many organizations, community leaders, funders, and individuals who helped bring Village of New Augustine to life.

We’re proud to celebrate this new community and, most importantly, the opportunities it creates for the people who will call it home.

Read the full press release to learn more about Village of New Augustine and the partners who made this milestone possible.

Happy National Book Lovers Day!

Books have the power to educate, inspire, and connect us. Whether it's a child's favorite bedtime story, a novel that offers a new perspective, or a resource that helps someone reach their goals, every book has the potential to open new doors.

Today, we're celebrating the joy of reading and the opportunities that come from lifelong learning.

Disability and homelessness are deeply connected.

For many, barriers like inaccessible housing, rising healthcare costs, limited income, discrimination, and a lack of supportive services make it harder to find and maintain stable housing. At the same time, experiencing homelessness can worsen existing health conditions and create new physical and mental health challenges.

At Ability Housing, we believe that housing is more than a roof overhead—it's the foundation for health, independence, and opportunity. By providing affordable housing paired with supportive services, we're helping residents build stability and create brighter futures.

Thank you for joining us throughout Disability Pride Month as we celebrated the diversity, resilience, and experiences of people living with disabilities. Together, we can build communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
