After a storm passes, scammers are just getting started! 🌧️ Beware of home repair, contractor, and insurance scams and fraud after a natural disaster. Scammers try to take advantage of homeowners after a storm and offer "quick" repairs or pretend to offer government assistance. Here are some red flags to look out for:

🚩 Requests for full or large payments upfront before the work begins.
🚩Pressure to make an immediate decision without written estimates or contracts
🚩Refusing to provide references, licensing or proof of insurance.
