Woo-hoo!! Go Cielo!

🌈✨ GRAND MARSHAL SPOTLIGHT: CIELO SUNSARAE ✨🌈

Meet one of the leaders helping transform what visibility looks like for Black and trans communities across the country. 🏳️‍⚧️💖

Cielo Sunsarae is the Founder & Executive Director of The Q***r Trans Project, a Black- and trans-led nonprofit working to expand access to free, gender-affirming resources for trans and q***r people nationwide.✊🏾

From Jacksonville to communities across the country, Cielo is creating tangible support, building community, and making sure trans people have access to the resources they need to live authentically and thrive. 🌈✨

That work matters. Representation matters. And Cielo reminds us that Pride is about more than being seen — it’s about making sure our communities are supported, empowered, and celebrated.

Now Orlando, it’s time to celebrate Cielo! 👑🌈

🎉 Catch Cielo leading the Most Colorful Parade on Saturday, October 17 from 4–6 PM at Lake Eola Park!

Pull out your BEST Pride gear, bring the glitter, bring the flags, bring the whole crew — and make some NOISE for Cielo! 📣✨

Let’s fill the streets with color, joy, and a whole lot of Pride! FEEL THE BEAT. 🏳️‍🌈🔥

988’s LGBTQ+ youth option is back. Call 988 and press 3 for specialized crisis support. 🥹

Save this post for yourself, share it with someone you love, and keep these other support options close.

🚨A few things to know: The Trevor Project’s own lines remain available separately from 988. Wait times vary, and some crisis services may involve emergency responders, including police. Trans Lifeline prohibits nonconsensual emergency intervention, with legal reporting exceptions. You can ask about privacy before sharing details.

The 2024 (Biden-Era) Title IX protections that explicitly included sexual orientation and gender identity will no longer be in effect as of September 29, 2026, and that has real consequences for LGBTQ+ students, especially trans students.

This carousel breaks down what changed, what the current federal rules actually say, and where protections may now depend more heavily on state and local law. Swipe through, save this, and check the full blog for sources and more context.

Look closely and you’ll spot a letter-writing kit created by The Q***r Trans Project!

Our kit makes it easy for groups, allies, and teams to volunteer by writing affirming letters to LGBTQ+ people. You can use it at corporate events, community gatherings, team-building activities, and more.

Find the kit on our website and host your own letter-writing event!
