At Shower Power, we have five core values that we try to incorporate into everything we do:

Today we witnessed these core values in a fellow organization when our neighbors at the Gabby Strong Foundation blessed us with a delicious lunch for our friends.

A rising tide lifts all boats, and we are so grateful to be a part of a community that truly cares. Our friends received fellowship, love, and community today, and we could not be more grateful to the Gabby Strong Foundation, all of our wonderful volunteers, and all of our community partners who continue to help us love our friends back to life.

A special thank you goes out to the those who are always there, and always answer the call when Jackson's most vulnerable population needs us most.

Not only did NVENT and Entergy volunteer with us today, but our neighbors at CMAR brought our friends a delicious lunch. The blessings we receive from our community and our neighbors are truly limitless, and our friends had the opportunity today to come enjoy fellowship at Shower Power in Jackson.

Today, our friends enjoyed a delicious lunch today thanks to the Mississippi Apartment Association. Thank you to our neighbors at NVENT, Origin Bank, and Boardwalk Pipelines who came out to volunteer and help us love our friends back to life.

A big thanks to the Salvation Army for handing out hygiene bags.

And, we had a very generous donation and a wonderful visit from a special guest! Miss Metro Jackson, Nataleigh Nix, and her team also volunteered and handed out 50 more hygiene bags.

A big thank you goes out to our community partners who continue to stand by us and help build a community for those that need it most.

God shines his light on us everyday, and today, it was especially bright. Our neighbors at Haskell Company brought a huge breakfast of danishes, biscuits, and treats. Both Clinton High School and Amazing Grace shared their love with us through the gift of donations, and the Jackson Free Clinic came out and provided medical services.

While Shower Power offers hygiene services, food, and clothing, community building is at the heart of what we do. A huge thank you goes out to our volunteers and community partners that continue to pour out and help us love our community of friends back to life.

Today, the generosity of St. Peter's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Madison fed our friends, and Mississippi's finest with the Mississippi Center for Police and Sheriffs volunteered to uplift our friends' community.

Broadwalk also came out to volunteer, and we received many generous donations including hygiene kits from Spelman College alumni, homemade sausage biscuits from Becky Johnson Hunter, food pantry blessings from Watson Electric, and continued generous support from Liz Williams.

Yesterday our wonderful neighbors at Trinity Wesleyan Church came out and fed our friends, and shared the gospel. Pastor Timothy Burnett conducted the service and Jason Landing shared his voice and music with 54 people looking to connect, be seen, and feel loved.

💕A huge THANK YOU to Fleet Feet for their incredibly generous donation of men’s and women’s shoes to Shower Power! 👟 Because of their kindness, these shoes flew off the shelves and went straight to people who truly needed them. The demand is high, and we are so grateful for their support in helping us serve our community.

We also want to thank our amazing community for continuing to show up and give back—you make this work possible every single day.

Right now, we are in need of a few essential items:
• Suitcases, travel bags, and backpacks
• Men’s shoes (sizes 10–14)
• Men’s underwear (sizes M–2X)
• Men’s belts (sizes 30–36)
• Men’s pants (sizes 30–34)
• Shorts (sizes 30–34)
• Non-perishable food items (Can goods must be pop-top)
