Today was an extremely special day at Shower Power church!! three people gave their life to the Lord and was baptized!! this experience is something that we will never forget!! pastor Tim Burnett your words we’re very moving thank you for a wonderful service. I can’t describe how special this was!!

🩵What a blessed day at Shower Power💜

We had a wonderful time worshiping with Pastor Tim today. We celebrated three baptisms and held a beautiful celebration of life in honor of our friend Kevin Maghee — he will be deeply missed and always remembered.😇

👏A huge thank you to First Baptist Church-Downtown Jackson for welcoming us to set up a table and share who we are and what Shower Power is all about. 💙

We also want to give a special shout-out to Madison Methodist’s youth group for their tremendous help and hard work at Shower Power today — your energy and service did not go unnoticed! 🙌

Days like today remind us why we do what we do — great friends, great community, and so much to be grateful for. 🚿✨

🩵Good food, good people, and a whole lot of love!

The awesome team at Food Sales East sponsored and served lunch, and the Baptist Children’s Village team spent the day volunteering and loving on our friends.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Brittany Denson with Grace House for donating 200 units of Narcan and fentanyl test strips to help keep our community safe.

☀️🔥 HOT DAY. HOT JAMBALAYA. BIG HEARTS. ❤️

It was HOT out there today, but that didn’t stop us from having an incredible day at Shower Power!

A HUGE thank you to the StationServ team for sponsoring lunch and cooking up some amazing jambalaya right on site for our friends! 🍲❤️ There’s just something special about sharing a meal that was made with love.

And of course, a BIG THANK YOU to DJ Jason Harrison for providing the music and keeping the good vibes going! 🎶🎧

It was a day full of love, laughter, good food, music, and communion with friends. And honestly, this is what Shower Power is all about. ❤️

Bringing people together. Building relationships. Making sure our friends know they are seen, valued, and loved.

As the heat continues, we also ask our community to please offer water to anyone living outside today. Help keep our friends hydrated, check on them when you can, and keep those living outside in your thoughts and prayers. 💧🙏

We had another GREAT day at Shower Power today! Even with this extreme heat hanging around, our community continues to show up for our friends experiencing homelessness. We’re asking everyone to do what they can to help keep folks cool—pass out water, check on someone, and remind them they’re not forgotten. 💧❤️

A HUGE thank you to Madison Methodist Church for sponsoring lunch today and to the Welcome Neighbor Club for their generous monetary donation. Your support means more than you know and helps us continue serving our community with dignity, love, and a hot meal. 🙏

Today we have three precious dogs at Oakdale Animal Hospital who need your prayers and support. (they are all three extremely sweet and very very adorable.)

Two of these sweet dogs—a Lab mix and a German Shepherd mix—belonged to a man who made a difficult decision to enter rehab. But he had to give his animals up —he wanted the best for his dogs, and entrusted them to us so they could be safe and cared for.

The third dog is a Chihuahua mix , she was found injured after being hit by a car in the middle of the road. Thankfully, this sweet pup is now receiving medical care.

If you feel led to help, donations toward their veterinary care would be such a blessing. Every gift, no matter the amount, we would be very grateful.

🩵What an incredible Friday at Shower Power!🩵

✝️Every week we’re reminded how much can happen when a community comes together with compassion, kindness, and a willingness to serve. From the prayer table and clothing line to helping our friends get birth certificates and IDs, every conversation and every smile helps remind people that they are seen, heard, and valued. It’s a blessing to watch lives being touched and new friendships being formed each week.

We’ve been welcoming lots of new faces lately, and we’re so thankful for volunteers who take the time to sit down, listen to someone’s story, and make them feel at home. Those moments matter more than you know. 😊
