Clergy for Prison Reform (CPR) is a group of faith leaders in Mississippi who believe our criminal justice is in desperate need of reform, especially as it pertains to the corporatization of our prison system. Our members include Christian faith leaders of different races, denominations and ideologies. Though several civil and human rights groups are actively engaged in this fight from political a
nd economic vantages, we believe it is only through the presence of faith that the conscience of Mississippi will change. CPR will advocate in the power of faith for a more just, righteous and humane criminal justice system. Time is of the essence. We cannot wait.
