Community Action Agency will accept public comments as required by the Michigan Department of Human Services CSBG State Plan for FY 2027. Public comments will be accepted from May 27 through June 1, 2026. For more info: caajlh.org/public-comment-csbg-fy-2027

Public comments are being accepted until June 26, 2025 on the CSBG State Plan for FY 2026 by Community Action Agency.

Every year in May - during - Community Action professionals from throughout Michigan gather in Lansing for Michigan Community Action Legislative Day. We have important conversations with our local representatives, remind them of the important role CAAs play in providing a pathway to greater self-sufficiency, and we thank them for their support. We also celebrate outstanding CAA volunteers and the people whose lives have been changed through their active participation in CAA programs. Special thanks to State Sen. Joe Bellino (Senate District 16) and State Rep. Kathy Schmaltz and her staff member Lucas (House District 46) for their support and taking time to meet with us.
