The fall equinox may have come and gone, but this weather has us feeling like summer isn’t quite ready to say goodbye!

Few melodies are as instantly recognizable as George Gershwin’s “Summertime” from Porgy and Bess. 🌻

One of the most recorded songs in American music, this timeless classic has been reimagined across genres and generations. In Porgy and Bess: A Symphonic Picture, orchestrator Robert Russell Bennett brings together some of Gershwin’s most iconic melodies, transforming the music of the opera into a sweeping orchestral experience.
