Something Big is Happening at Central Michigan 2-1-1!!
For 23 years, LifeWays has operated Central Michigan 2-1-1’s call center in Jackson, serving 10 counties across the network. Starting Oct. 12, call center services for CM 2-1-1 will shift to Gryphon Place. Central Michigan 2-1-1 will continue to ensures callers can connect to the quality, local support services they need as quickly and effectively as ever.
By expanding its current call center support for Central Michigan 2-1-1 from after-hours to 24/7 support, Gryphon Place brings broad expertise in administering 2-1-1 operations. At the same time, LifeWays remains a vital partner and resource for Central Michigan 2-1-1 as a Community Mental Health Services Program and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, providing mental health, behavioral health, and substance use disorder services. Lifeways has been a strong, devoted and impactful partner with 2-1-1.
Central Michigan 2-1-1 staff were offered employment with Gryphon Place, and many have accepted. This mean that localized expertise remains in place and ensuring that callers who are connecting with Central Michigan 2-1-1 will continue to receive the quality, local support services they need as quickly and effectively as ever. In short Central Michigan 2-1-1 is not going anywhere. We will continue to support our communities and continue to be there for people we serve.
