While we appreciate any donation, there has been confusion about the differences are between adult pull-ups vs adult diapers. In the picture below, pull-ups look more like underwear (see picture on the right). Diapers have sticky tabs much like a baby's diaper (see picture on the left).

Just because a package may say briefs does not mean they are pull-ups. The best way to tell is to look at the design of the product on the front or the back of the package. If it shows the sticky tabs, they are an adult diaper. If not, they are an adult pull-up.

That said, we are in immediate need of adult pull-ups in all sizes, wipes, and disposable bed pads. We have been out of stock on these for almost a month now, and there is an immediate need for the consumers with disabilities that we work with. Please consider donating if you can.

Join us at the Center THIS Friday, October 16th from 10am-1pm to meet with local organizations to learn how to maintain and improve your health!

There will be a few clinics at the event this year:

- Vaccine Clinic with County Pharmacy - They will be providing the following vaccines: Flu, COVID, Shingles, MMR, Hep A/B, Pneumonia, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, and RSV

- Foot Clinic with Dr. White, DPM - They will have appointments from 8:30am-noon. He will be doing toenail trimmings as well as treating calluses, ingrown toenails, corns, bursitis, and painful joints

- Hearing Clinic with All Hearing LLC - They will be testing your hearing and giving recommendations on hearing aids, if needed

If you're tired of watching nondisabled actors play wheelchair users, the new dance drama Ballroom took a different route. Madeline Delp, who uses a wheelchair, stars as Violet, an aspiring dancer paralyzed in a car accident, and a body double handles the scenes where Violet stands.

C6 quad Cheryl Angelelli , a competitive wheelchair ballroom dancer and co-founder of the adapted ballroom program Dance Mobility, advised filmmaker Laurence Walsh for months on Violet's dance chair and costume and sent videos of real wheelchair ballroom dancers to inspire the choreography. Delp, who had never done wheelchair ballroom, trained with Dance Mobility's instructors.
