Musical Expressions Experience is proud to celebrate the release of its Executive Director, Chelsea Young’s second children’s book, Jewel the Fox and His First Day of School! 🎉🦊

This book is more than a story — it is a reflection of the mission behind Musical Expressions Experience (MEE) and the lives we are committed to impacting through hands-on music, arts, literacy, and creative education in Jackson, Mississippi. ❤️

As an educator, author, and arts advocate, Chelsea Young continues to use storytelling and creativity to create experiences that children can see themselves in, learn from, and enjoy.

📖 Jewel the Fox and His First Day of School continues the journey that began with Jewel the Fox and His Bucket Drumming Experience. Through Jewel’s adventures, children are introduced to themes of music, creativity, confidence, learning, friendship, and new experiences.

At MEE, we believe children deserve opportunities to create, explore, perform, and learn by doing. Whether it’s through bucket drumming, youth drumline, strings, literacy, or other creative experiences, our goal is to help shape confident, creative, and well-rounded young people.
