We would like to give a huge shoutout to our CELT Club for completing their KY Retail Survey Project! For this project they conducted an environmental scan of to***co retailers in Estill County to determine if they were in compliance with state law.

This past week, they delivered their Youth Safety Awards to the retailers and congratulated them on being in compliance and doing their part to keep our kids safe! 🌟

You're invited to our EPIC Summer Youth Talent Show in partnership with our friends at the Estill County 4-H! This event is on Friday, June 19, at 5:30 PM at Steam Engine in Irvine, KY!
Registration is now open, so reserve your spots early. We can’t wait to see local youth shine on stage.

What a great way to wrap up our Parent Cafe series! Last night we heard about lots of activities for youth in our county. We want to thank Mercy Health Marcum and Wallace hospital for sponsoring dinner. Thank you to these organizations who shared information about their activities: Boy Scout Troop 144 and their leaders, Estill County Public Library, River City Players, 4-H Extension office, Estill Arts Council, Helping Hands Outreach, EPIC and ASAP.
It was a pleasure to learn more about scouting from the boys and the many badge activities they can accomplish.
EPIC will be offering youth activities all Summer. Follow us here for details.

Our April Parent Cafe will feature community groups offering registration for Youth Summer programming. Joining us so far are reps. from 4-H, River City Players, Estill Arts Council and the EC Library.
EPIC's programming is focused on serving 7th -12th graders. That evening, in addition to our community youth programming fair, our guest speaker will be from Operation UNITE. They will share about their substance use prevention programs offered around KY.

We had a great discussion at last night’s Parent Cafe! Thank you to Sheriff Flynn for sharing insights on va**ng in schools. We also want to thank the EC Lion’s Club for sponsoring dinner. EPIC host Parent Cafes monthly. Join us for our next event April 28th!
