Today, we were proud to present scholarships to current SYA Cadet Trinity Martin and former cadet and second-time scholarship recipient Nicholas Tovar.

At You Run This Town Foundation OC, we believe scholarships are more than financial assistance—they are an investment in the future. By supporting continued education at universities, colleges, and trade schools, we help empower young people to pursue their goals, develop their talents, and build meaningful careers. Congratulations to Justin Vien, our latest recipient who last week received the YRTT OC Scholarship and is now the very first recipient of the Dr. David Noya Scholarship for Future Healers and Medical First Responders. These scholarships are far more than fiancial support - it is an investment in a future physician whose ife and career will carry forward Dr. Noya’s compassion, service, and commitment to helping others.
At You Run This Town OC, we step in at the moment it matters most and we are proud to support Justin on his journey and honored to help continue a legacy dedicated to healing and serving others.

We don’t just fund emerging leaders we guide them.
Through one of our newest partnerships with Conservation Corps OC, YRTT OC is proud to support our first scholarship recipient, Christopher Vargas.
Christopher is attending Santiago Canyon College and pursuing a career in Water Treatment Management—a path rooted in sustainability, service, and creating lasting community impact.
At YRTT OC, scholarships represent more than financial support. Through mentorship, guidance, and opportunity, we are committed to helping students build confidence, direction, and momentum toward their future.
We’re excited to support Christopher on this journey and look forward to all that’s ahead.

This weekend family, friends and colleagues gathered together to celebrate a longtime friend of YRTTF OC. Dr. David Noya. David was a compassionate physician with AltaMed Health Services, devoted family member, and cherished friend who dedicated his life to serving others through medicine and caring for others. His life was defined by compassion, humility, and quiet leadership and he touched the lives of countless patients, colleagues, friends and family members. David will be deeply missed. May we honor his life by continuing to serve others with the same generosity and heart he showed everyday. 🕊️❤️

A special moment from our September Golf Tournament came full circle last week! 🍷

Jan and Dave Wilmot were the winning bidders on an in-home wine tasting generously donated by Kahal Family Vineyards, and what an incredible evening it turned out to be. Hosted at the Wilmot home, guests enjoyed amazing wines with owners and winemakers Dave and Shawn Kahal, along with delicious food and great company.

Thank you to Kahal Family Vineyards and Dave and Jan Wilmot for supporting You Run This Town and helping us continue our mission of empowering future leaders.
