Meet Safina and Nagujja from our Kajjansi Support Group in Uganda. Through our piggery project, both women are turning livestock into sustainable income for their families.

Safina started with one pig and now has more to raise and sell. For Nagujja, raising pigs has become her daily job, and she dreams of earning enough to someday purchase her own land.

This is what these projects are all about: helping people build sustainable livelihoods, provide for their families, and create hope for the future.

When the Rain Comes, John Has Nowhere to Stay Dry

Six-year-old John was deserted by both of his parents and now lives with his 72-year-old grandmother in Kenya. She does her best to care for him, but has very little ability to support them.

Their small home is in desperate condition. The roof is filled with holes, and they’ve tried covering them with plastic bags. When the heavy rains come, water leaks throughout the house, soaking the few clothes and belongings they have. Some days they eat only one meal. Other days, they have nothing at all.

For just $200, we can give John and his grandmother a new roof and a safe, dry place to live. ❤️

Clean Water Changes Everything.

In Fort Portal, Uganda, a new hand-dug well is now providing clean, safe water to more than 5,000 people in the surrounding community.

For families who once struggled to find safe water, this well means better health, less time searching for water, and new hope for the future. And it will continue making a difference every day, year after year.
