💙 Welcome to the Downtown Inverness Rotary Club, Mary White! 💙

We were excited to officially welcome Mary White as the newest member of the Downtown Inverness Rotary Club last night! Mary was inducted by our District Assistant Governor, Bob Daughhetee.

Mary serves as the Executive Director of Nature Coast Ministries, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families in need throughout our community. Through her leadership, Nature Coast Ministries provides valuable resources and support, including assistance with food, clothing, dental care, and other essential needs for veterans and individuals and families facing financial hardship.

We are so grateful for the work Mary does in our community and are excited to have her bring her experience, passion for service, and heart for helping others to our Rotary family.

📣 Rotary Meeting Tonight!

Join us tonight for the Downtown Inverness Rotary Club meeting! We welcome all current Rotarians, former members, and anyone interested in learning more about Rotary and how we serve our community.

Last week, we were grateful to welcome Donna, Kerry, and Julie from the Alzheimer’s Association. Donna shared important information about Alzheimer’s awareness and how we can better support our family, friends, and neighbors who may be affected.

Tonight, we’ll also have the opportunity to meet some of our Rotary Youth Exchange students! 🇺🇸🌎

We’re especially inviting anyone who may be interested in hosting an exchange student during the upcoming school year. Come meet the students, learn more about the Youth Exchange program, and find out how your family can be part of this incredible experience.

🌎 Interested in Hosting a Rotary Youth Exchange Student? 💙💛

The Downtown Inverness Rotary Club is looking for local individuals and families who are interested in opening their homes and hearts to a Rotary Youth Exchange student this school year!

Hosting an exchange student is a wonderful opportunity to learn about another culture, share your own traditions, and build a lifelong connection with a young person from another part of the world. You don’t have to be a Rotary member to host!

📣 Rotary Meeting Tonight! 📣

Just a reminder that the Downtown Inverness Rotary Club is meeting tonight from 5:30–6:30 PM at our new location: the Community Hall at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Inverness.

Our meetings are open to all Rotary members, as well as anyone interested in learning more about who we are, what we do throughout Citrus County, and how we make an impact internationally through Rotary.

🌎 Tonight, we’ll also be discussing opportunities to host Rotary Youth Exchange students. If hosting an exchange student is something you or your family may be interested in, we’d love for you to stop by, learn more, and ask questions!

Whether you’re already a Rotarian, a former member, a member of another club, or simply curious about getting involved in your community, you are welcome!

✂️🎒 What an Incredible Day! 🎒✂️

We are so grateful for the amazing turnout and support at our Back-to-School Kids Haircuts Event! Because of this wonderful community, we were able to serve 60 families, helping students head into the new school year feeling confident and prepared.

A heartfelt thank you to The Gentlemens Quarters-Inverness for hosting and to the talented stylists and barbers who generously gave their time and skills to make this event possible. Your dedication truly made a difference.

We’re also proud to share that students wrote 40 letters to service members, which will be mailed out, spreading kindness far beyond our community. 🇺🇸

And of course, thank you to all of our volunteers who helped bring this event together. We couldn’t have done it without you!

💙 We love serving our community and look forward to the next opportunity to make an impact.

We’re excited to share an important update as our club continues to grow!

The Downtown Inverness Rotary Club will be moving to a new meeting location beginning in August. We are incredibly grateful to the the Crown Court for their hospitality and for providing a welcoming space for our meetings. Your support has meant so much to our club.

As our membership has grown, we’ve outgrown our current space and are thankful to St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church for generously opening their community hall to us.

🗓 Meeting Schedule: First three Thursdays of each month
⏰ Time: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
