And just like that… the Queens have officially left the building.
What an absolutely incredible closing weekend for SIX: Teen Edition.
We went into this production not knowing how our community would respond to a show that wasn't nearly as familiar locally as some of the titles we've done before.
Well… you answered that question.
We sold out.
Then we figured out how to squeeze in more seats.
Then we added MORE seats.
And somehow, we STILL had to turn people away.
The energy inside that theatre all weekend was unreal. The cheering, the laughter, the standing ovations—and six young women standing on that stage giving absolutely everything they had.
These girls were incredible.
They tackled some seriously difficult vocals, six-part harmonies, nonstop choreography, and a show that required them to command that stage from beginning to end. Watching them grow throughout this process and then seeing the confidence they walked onto that stage with closing weekend was something we'll remember for a very long time.
We could not be prouder of our Queens or the entire team that helped create this production.
And because apparently we don't know how to sit still around here...
The stage is already down.
The confetti has been swept up. The crowns are packed away. And we're already moving on to the next story.
Thank you to EVERYONE who packed our little theatre, told your friends, shared our posts, came back for another performance, and continued showing up for these artists.
SIX was one hell of a ride.
Now… onto the next.
