is a vital organization comprised of a compassionate staff, dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of older adults in Indiana County. We provide opportunities to enhance senior social, physical, and mental skills utilizing our various programs.

👉Help Us Make Indiana County Dementia Friendly👈

We are looking for people who are living with dementia, their caregivers/family members, business owners, and community members to share their input on the challenges that people who are living with dementia face when they go out in public, and what we can do to make a more inclusive community.

You can help by signing up to participate in one of the following ways:
💜In-Person Focus Group
💜One-On-One Virtual Meeting
💜One-On-One Phone Call
💜Complete a Paper Questionnaire and Return by Mail

There is a lot going on this year:
💜Dementia Friendly Indiana County Kickoff, featuring remarks from ASI, Dementia Friendly Pennsylvania, Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Related Disorders Office at Pennsylvania Department of Aging, and the Indiana County Commissioners Office.

👉The first 25 attendees to the kickoff will receive a FREE Dementia Friendly Indiana County tote bag!

😎Over 27 businesses and organizations on site to provide resources and answer your questions!

🥦First day of distribution for Senior Farmers' Market Vouchers in Indiana County.

ASI will have a pop-up Social Center at the Brain Health Fair on Thursday, June 4th. Stop in the Community Room at the Indiana Mall (former Rue 21 store) to see woodcarving demonstrations, participate in a yoga or fitness class and listen to a jam band.
