Help us light this tree and move the vision forward!

This year, our Light the Tree goal is $30,000 to multiply leaders and strengthen churches. Your year-end gift will help equip 150 new pastors and church planters, revitalize 100 churches, and plant 50 new ones!

Every $1000 raised = Another bulb lit.

Churches need pastors.
Your gift matters. Be part of it.

Pastoral ministry carries joys that many people get to see and burdens that many never will.

Today, we thank God for the pastors who faithfully open His Word, shepherd His people, pray for their churches, and continue serving through every season of ministry.

On Pastor Appreciation Day, one of the most meaningful ways we can encourage our pastors is to pray for them.

Take a moment today to thank your pastor, pray for him and his family, and remind him that his faithful service is seen and appreciated.

For those faithfully preaching the Word, leading their churches, and serving their communities.

A place to connect, be encouraged, and grow alongside others who understand ministry.

You don’t have to lead alone.

What started with 15 people from two families has grown into a church of 130 reaching Swahili-speaking families across the Des Moines metro.

This summer, Swahili Baptist Church officially joined the GARBC as a mission church plant, marking another chapter in a story shaped by prayer, God's grace, and partnership.

Through the support of Soteria Church, the Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches, and a $10,000 church-planting grant from Generate, Swahili Baptist is continuing to grow its ministry and reach its community.

This is what churches helping churches move the gospel forward can look like.

The GARBC Council of 18 has wrapped up two full days of meeting together in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. These days were marked by prayer, focused discussion, careful listening, and a shared desire to see our churches move forward with purpose.

As GARBC National Representative Clare Jewell shared yesterday, the association has been praying for “wisdom, discernment, alignment, and movement.” We are praying not simply for decisions but for forward movement that strengthens churches and fuels the mission of making disciples.

There is work to be done. There are disciples to make.

We are grateful for your prayers and eager to see how God will lead us forward.

The GARBC Council of 18 met today and will continue with a full day tomorrow. Please pray for the Council as they seek God’s direction for our churches.

As Clare, our National Representative, says:
“Please pray for wisdom, discernment, alignment, and movement. Pray we can accelerate the forward movement of our churches."

Some faithfulness happens where no one else can see it.

The prayers, preparation, conversations, and all the moments of serving others. God sees you. And He is faithful to meet you in every season!
