🎤 Performances include Chicago Rock Exchange, Emma’s Revolution, Naüvoo, SK Horizon, Dave Rudolf & Friends, Singing Resistance, Oak Park Raging Grannies & Friends, and Billy Branch and the Sons of Blues.

The event will be emceed by WCPT’s Patti Vasquez and will feature speakers including Delia Ramirez, Mary Beth Canty, and other community leaders.

Benefiting POC, the 2nd Annual Concert for Democracy also features remarks from Congresswoman Delia Ramirez, Gen Z Podcaster Ishaan Srivastava and other elected officials and civic leaders.

Throughout the afternoon, event-goers will be able to chat with representatives of local organizations who will be staffing tables, and register for volunteer opportunities, including get-out-the-vote activities affiliated with national No Kings Vote Early events.

This non-partisan event is collaboratively sponsored by eight chapters of the national Indivisible movement: Indivisible Elk Grove Township; Indivisible Niles Maine Township; Indivisible Des Plaines; Indivisible Evanston; Indivisible Highland Park; Indivisible NWSOFA; The People’s Post Alliance Indivisible Chapter; and Indivisible Illinois.

A big thank you to our volunteers (some not pictured) who sewed Trick or Treat bags for area children in Hanover Park and Palatine. A special thanks to Pam who took material home and created the cutest treat bags. Thank you Pam, Irene, Mary, Christy, and Sue!
