💚 Help Us Build Something That Lasts

Idy Senior Connections was created with one mission: to bring connection, friendship, and meaningful opportunities to the older adults in our mountain communities.

We’re excited to announce our very first fundraising campaign!

As a newly formed nonprofit, we’re working toward obtaining our federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Part of the funds we raise will help cover the IRS filing fee and other essential startup expenses that will allow us to apply for grants, receive tax-deductible donations, and grow programs that benefit local seniors for years to come.

The remaining funds will help us begin offering:
☕ Senior socials and community gatherings
🎨 Arts, crafts, and activity supplies
📚 Educational programs
🤝 Volunteer opportunities
💚 Future events that keep our seniors connected and engaged

Every donation—no matter the amount—helps us build a stronger future for the seniors in our community.

Hello Idyllwild! We are in the begging stages of planning classes and workshops for the seniors and are looking for volunteers and spaces to host classes! As always, all events are free for the senior community! Reach out if you would like to get involved or have any suggestions!

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

After months of planning, community support, and a whole lot of hard work, I am proud to announce that Idyllwild Senior Connections is now officially incorporated as a California nonprofit organization!

What began with a simple goal of bringing seniors together has grown into a community-driven effort to reduce isolation, create meaningful connections, and provide opportunities for older adults throughout our mountain communities.

This milestone would not have been possible without the support of our volunteers, local businesses, community partners, board members, and the many seniors who have participated in our events.

We are just getting started and look forward to expanding programs, events, and resources for seniors in Idyllwild, Pine Cove, and surrounding communities.

Adopt a Senior Idyllwild is now ✨ Idyllwild Senior Connections ✨

As this community has grown, so has the vision. While Adopt a Senior will always be an important part of what we do, the new name better reflects our broader goal:
creating ongoing opportunities for connection, support, and togetherness for local seniors.

Idyllwild Senior Connections will continue to include:
• Adopt-a-Senior initiatives
• Social gatherings and events
• Community involvement and volunteer opportunities
• And new ways to help seniors feel connected and supported year-round

Our heart hasn’t changed — just the name 💚
