Happy Pride Month, everyone! 🌈 As we celebrate love, authenticity, inclusion, and the incredible strength of the LGBTQ+ community, we want to wish each of you a joyful and inspiring Pride Month. We are also excited to announce that **Pride Under the Pines** will take place on **Saturday, October 17th at the Idyllwild Town Hall**! Be sure to **save the date and purchase your tickets now**. More details will be coming soon, but as many of you already know, this is an unforgettable event that brings together so many members, friends, and allies of the LGBTQ+ community high atop our beautiful mountain community. A Message from the Founders of Pride Under the Pines
As we celebrate Pride Month, we are reminded that Pride has always been more than a celebration—it is a movement. It was built by courageous individuals who stood up, spoke out, and demanded equality, dignity, and respect when doing so was neither easy nor safe.
Today, we recognize that many in our LGBTQ+ community are feeling concerned as some hard-fought protections and rights face new challenges. We have also seen decisions by leaders and institutions that many feel diminish the importance and visibility of Pride Month. These moments remind us that progress should never be taken for granted.
That is why we must continue to stand together. We must raise our voices, support one another, advocate for equality, and ensure that future generations inherit a world that is more inclusive, more compassionate, and more just than the one we found.
Pride is resilience. Pride is courage. Pride is community.
And that spirit is exactly what Pride Under the Pines is all about. We invite you to join us on Saturday, October 17th, at the Idyllwild Town Hall as we come together to celebrate our community, honor those who paved the way, and recommit ourselves to the ongoing fight for equality. High atop our beautiful mountain community, we will gather in solidarity, joy, and hope, proving once again that love, acceptance, and unity are stronger than fear and division.
So this month—and every month—we encourage you to stand up, speak out, and rise up. Celebrate who you are. Support your neighbors. Share your story. And never forget that change has always come from people who refused to be silent.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we are visible. Together, we will continue moving forward.
