Practices for the remainder of the week will resume their regular time slots. Teams may practice their entire 6-7:30PM or 7:30-9PM practice slots but it is still very hot so coaches may still opt to shorten or cancel practices - make sure to check team chats for information from individual coaches.

Please still be vigilant about observing heat safety guidelines and be on the lookout for signs of heat related illness. All players need to bring their own water to practice and should make sure to hydrate before, during and after practices, not just when they feel thirsty. Players should continue to wear cool, light-colored clothing, take frequent rest breaks and alert coaches if they are not feeling well.

We anticipate continuing with regular practice slots for the rest of the week but will post updates if anything changes. Coaches are always the best point of contact for questions regarding individual team practices.

As high temperatures continue, we will continue with our modified practice schedule this week. Practices may be held at coaches' discretion but teams that practice from 6-7:30PM will be moved to 7-8PM and teams that practice from 7:30-9PM will be moved to 8-9PM. Some coaches may opt not to practice at all so make sure to check your team chat before heading to practice.

We will continue with the modified practice schedule until further notice. Temperatures are forecast to be a little lower later on this week so we will continue to evaluate conditions as the week goes on and inform coaches of any changes.

Please make sure to review and adhere to these heat safety tips and make sure all athletes have plenty of water at practice. Players should not wait until they are thirsty and instead should hydrate before, during and after practices. Make sure your athletes are wearing light-colored, breathable clothing and that they take frequent breaks. Be extra vigilant and look out for signs of heat related illness. Dizziness, nausea, cramps, confusion, headache and vomiting are all potential warning signs of heat related illness and should not be ignored - alert coaches if you notice any players exhibiting any of these signs and symptoms.

Congratulations to the 12U Bandits on being Finalists at TCBSA's own Summer Showdown tournament this weekend! After having a tough day in pool play, these guys showed some true grit while playing in extremely hot temperatures and battled back to make it to the championship. We couldn't be more proud and seeing our Bandits play on home turf (or more accurately - grass) made it an extra special weekend!

Thank you to all the teams who came out this weekend and congratulations to the Coppell Cowboys on their Championship win. We're hosting a few more tournaments in the next few months and would love to see as many teams as possible at the Labor Day Classic (9/5-9/6), Salute to Veterans Tournament (11/14-11/15) and Fall Season Wrap Up (11/21-22). All tournaments are listed in NCS or you can DM us here for more information.

This team is just getting started with their fall season and started things off with a bang! We can't wait to see what else is in store for our 12U Bandits and our other select Bandits and Lady Bandits teams!

🥎 PLAY FOR KYLIE. PLAY FOR A DREAM. 🥎

Today was about so much more than softball. 💙

Coaches and families from our Tri-Cities 6U, 8U, and 10U Softball divisions came together to form our Tri-Cities Elite team and compete in the Kylie White Dream Foundation Adult Softball Tournament at Northfield Park.

Kylie White was one of our own — a softball player who played right here at Tri-Cities when she was younger. She passed away at just 16 years old after a courageous battle with cancer, but her love for softball and the dreams she had for her future continue to make an impact. The proceeds from this tournament help provide scholarships for student-athletes pursuing softball in college, helping Kylie's dream live on through the next generation of players. 🩵🥎

Our Tri-Cities crew showed up ready to PLAY! They battled their way to a 3-2 record, making it all the way to the semifinals before coming up just short.

But today, the final score wasn't what mattered most.

It was watching our softball community come together — coaches who normally coach our kids stepping onto the field themselves, families cheering them on, and everyone playing for a young woman who will forever be part of the softball community we love.

We are incredibly proud of our Tri-Cities Elite team and everyone who came out to support such a meaningful cause.

Today we played for something bigger than a win.

🩵 We played for Kylie.
🥎 We played for her dream.
✨ And we helped keep that dream alive, one athlete and one game at a time.

Due to the high forecasted temperatures, 10U, 12U & 15U will all be combined at 11AM. Players wanting to learn or work on sliding will need to wear pants instead of shorts to participate. 6U & 8U will still be at 10AM and will work on hitting in addition to base running so should bring their bats and helmets. Players must have pre-registered to attend. See you out there!

Tomorrow is our 2nd Softball Skills and Drills focusing on base running, stealing, and sliding. This week will on on Field 3 at Chisolm Park - 6U & 8U will start at 10AM, 10U at 11AM, and 12U & 15U at 12PM. Players should arrive 10 minutes early to stretch and warm up and may want to consider wearing sliding shorts and/or sliding pads. It's going to be another hot day so should please make sure to send plenty of water and that athletes hydrate before, during and afterwards and wear plenty of sunscreen.
