A NOT-FOR-PROFIT 501c3 ORGANIZATION, 100% VOLUNTEER BASED DEDICATED TO THE CARE OF OUR RESCUES UNTIL SAFE AND HAPPY WITH THEIR NEW FAMILY IN THEIR HOME.

From the very minute we rescue any cat of any age, we treat them like our very own pet. We groom them, take care of all their medical needs and try to provide any comforts they may want or need - comfortable beds, their own toys they can take with them, healthy wet and dry food together with tons of love and holding and playing with them and keeping them as happy as possible until we help them find the perfect home for their own personality. It is a very personal service - it is all about the cats! Every cat is delivered to their new home and settled in - and we stay in touch and often end up adopting out another cat to the same household at a future date. It isn't about the amount of cats we adopt out - it is about the care and happiness of the cat until we find the best adopter for them.

JUST A FEW DAYS AWAY - this fabulous fundraiser - and you can BRING YOUR DOG(s) if they are manageable!

BARKIN BRUNCH
Sunday, June 7, 2026
11-3 on the beautiful secluded patio at
The Refuge Restaurant in Melville.

Tito's Vodka sponsors this event and Home Sweet Home Animal Rescue of Long Island is honored to be the beneficiary.

June isn't too hot out (usually) so this should be fabulous as an outdoor event!

This is exciting! We are getting the red carpet Hollywood treatment!

THEY ARE LITERALLY ROLLING OUT THE RED CARPET FOR ALL OUR GUESTS!

With or without your dog - put those sunglasses and sequins on - walk the red carpet and their photographer will be taking tons of pictures. So much fun.

There is no cost to attend, you buy your own food and drinks (their food is great) and hang out with us on the outdoor patio - parts of the patio are covered. It's so much fun! There is also a doggie menu!

You can also just come to visit or buy raffles - there is no obligation to buy lunch or drinks.

Watch the dogs parade around and we will have over the top fabulous raffles. Great music too!

If your dog attends - we have gifts for them. If they come dressed Hollywood Style - they will also get a bigger bag of Tailbangers all natural treats to take home!

We will also be doing pop-up Hollywood trivia questions - and winners each get a prize.

Please join us! We need your support to continue our mission. Money is so tight and the veterinary needs are great.

The more participation we get - the more offers to benefit from a sponsored event are sent our way. It is a win-win.

Any questions - please pm me.

Please put this on your calendar! It will be such a fun afternoon
If you are interested in any raffles and cannot attend the event, you can purchase them online. Click on this link. They are AMAZING
