A huge thank you to our Plainview-Old Bethpage volunteers who help deliver weekend food bags to students at Pasadena Elementary and Stratford Road Elementary.

Every bag delivered means a child has food for the weekend. Every volunteer who shows up helps make that happen. It may look simple, but this kind of behind-the-scenes kindness is exactly what keeps The Viola Project moving.

We are so grateful for the people who give their time, load the bags, make the deliveries, and quietly help take one worry off a family’s plate.

Community really does show up.
And honestly, we’re obsessed with that. 💜

You think you’re just having a normal day and then your kid comes to you with an idea to help feed kids on the weekends.

And you’re like—
“okay… that’s… a big idea.” 😅

You don’t have a plan.
You don’t have a roadmap.
You might not even have enough snacks in your own pantry that day.

But you listen anyway.

And somehow that one conversation turns into something so much bigger than you ever expected.

That’s how The Viola Project started. 💜

Now, every week, we’re packing bags for kids who need a little extra food, and a little extra love, to get through the weekend and it only works because of this community.

The Viola Project is expanding into the Plainview–Old Bethpage community!

What started as one small idea to help bridge the weekend hunger gap has grown into something so much bigger and we are beyond grateful to bring this mission to even more children in need.

Each week, we provide bags filled with food and a little extra kindness to help carry kids through the weekend.
