On Sunday, August 16, 2026, the Masthead Cove Yacht Club will host The Masthead Race, and our
post-race Fundraising Party at Wyncote Yacht Club on Shore Rd., Huntington. This annual charity
sailboat regatta will raise funds to support LI Cares – the Harry Chapin Huntington Food Bank, an
organization whose goal is to reduce food insecurity in our community.
LI Cares – The Harry Chapin Huntington Food Bank has been on a mission to feed Long Islanders facing
food insecurity and address its root causes since its founding by the late Harry Chapin in 1980. LI Cares
distributes more than 16 million pounds of food annually, the equivalent of 13.3 million meals for our
neighbors across Long Island. LI Cares is a 501-c(3) registered charity.
