Due to Emergency Orders issued by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Service; Hudsonville High School's production of "Murder in the Studio" has been postponed until at least December 9th. As always, our first priority is the safety of our students and community. We hope to be able to present the show at some point later in the school year.

We're proud to announce that Hudsonville High School has been selected to participate in this international initiative!

We at USITT and the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) have selected 171 schools from 39 states and Taiwan to participate in the BACKstage Technical Theatre Pilot Exam, a digital test for high school students designed to measure their competency in a broad range of technical theatre knowledge. Several thousand students are expected to take the pilot exam, which includes both a pre- and post-test. The pre-test is available between Sept. 8 and Oct. 22, 2020, and the post-test will be conducted April 15 through June 1, 2021.

Terry the Leopard sits atop our stock flats while Lenny the Tiger guards the visual arts program’s Artprize exhibit components. Modular “stock” scenery is a great way to keep down the overall costs of our theatre program’s sets while still giving students the opportunity to build unique sets for each show!
