International Needs was founded in 1974 with a radical new idea for missions: partner with Christians who are already doing ministry in their own countries. Share the stories of real people so together more people will come to faith in Jesus Christ.

40 years have passed since the beginning and our central aim continues to be winning people to Christ. Yes, we sponsor kids so they can go to school

and get a hot meal each day. Yes, we provide emergency assistance when people in ministry areas are facing a catastrophic event. But our central purpose continues to be working for transformed lives and changed communities for Jesus Christ.

Our partners in Burkina Faso embarked on a Gospel crusade in April to spread the good news to the village of Torouba. We are so thankful for the 1,800 people who gathered and for the 500 individuals who gave their lives to Christ!

Please join us in praying that the 500 new believers who gave their lives to Christ in Torouba remain steadfast in the faith, resist spiritual and cultural pressures as well as former traditional practices, and be integrated into local Christian communities.

We are jumping for joy! Our friends at Northbrook Church recently hosted a sponsorship event resulting in more than 35 new child sponsorships! Their generosity and heart for children will make a lasting difference by providing access to education, care, encouragement, and hope for so many young lives.

This photo captures the joy and excitement of the children as they learned they had been sponsored! It was a truly life-changing moment filled with smiles, celebration, and hope for the future. We are deeply thankful for the sponsors whose generosity made this possible and for the incredible support of everyone at Northbrook Church.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and every sponsor who said “yes” to changing a child’s future. Your kindness is opening doors, creating opportunities, and transforming lives. Today we remember the depth of love shown on the cross.

Good Friday is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made for us; a love so great it chose suffering so we could have life.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

May we pause today with grateful hearts, reflecting on His sacrifice and the hope it brings.

Today is Maundy Thursday, and we remember the night Jesus shared a final meal with His disciples. He washed their feet, served them, and gave a new command - to love one another just as He has loved us.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34

May we reflect on His example today, choosing to serve, forgive, and love with open hearts.
