MacArthur Award-winning icon Taylor Mac reunites with Obie Award-winning composer Matt Ray for an electrifying evening of song celebrating q***r history and futures. September 26 at 7pm at Hudson Hall. Tickets in bio!

The longtime collaborators are best known for A 24-Decade History of Popular Music, their acclaimed 24-hour journey through American music and the subject of an HBO documentary. At Hudson Hall, they mark the release of their new illustrated songbook, Bark of Millions, with a performance showcasing their creative partnership. Provocative and disarming, this duet evening is an open call to community and celebration. In Mac’s own words, if you’re not invited to the party, throw a better one! 

The Bark of Millions will be published by Black Dog & Leventhal in Fall 2026 and is available for pre-order through Hudson Hall or for purchase at the event.

Join us for Q***r Reels at the TRIFEST International Youth Film Festival! 🏳️‍🌈 🎞️

Q***r Reels is a vibrant collection of short films by emerging q***r filmmakers! It’s a chance to see what the next generation of q***r filmmakers is making, with stories that are funny, moving, unexpected, and deeply personal. The program also features last year’s TRIFEST Grand Jury Prize winner

After the screening, stick around for a talkback and community conversation with participating filmmakers, moderated by Champika Fernando of Q***r Cinema Club Berkshires.

TRIFEST (July 24–26 at Time & Space Limited) celebrates filmmakers under 25 from around the world, featuring 87 short films alongside workshops, keynote conversations, and community events.

After a Pride Flag was unveiled and hung from a second-floor window at City Hall, Mayor Joseph Ferris, SJ Williams (Co-Chair, OutHudson), Chelly Hegan (CEO, Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood), and David Quituisaca (Donor Organizer, Columbia County Sanctuary Mvmt) spoke about the importance of Hudson remaining a city that welcomes the LGBTQ+ community ahead of its Pride Parade on Saturday. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
