St Peter Pantry Hours: Saturday 10 AM – Noon

We’re so grateful for the chance to serve you. To help us care for everyone with ease and dignity, please:

- 🛍️ Return clean bags so they can bless another family
- 🪧 Bring your name sign for the car window — it helps us recognize you quickly
- 🚗 Clear a little space in your car so volunteers can load safely
- ⏰ Arrive by 11:30 AM to ensure we can serve you before closing
- 📄 Have these ready:
- VCM “Blue” Card (we’ll issue one if it’s your first visit)
- Photo ID
- Proof of residence dated within 30 days (utility bill or government mail)

📣The Foodbank will hold a pop-up mass food distribution for Greene County and surrounding area residents this Thursday, August 27th, from 10:00 AM - 1200 PM at the Wright State University Nutter Center (Lot 8), located at 3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy, Fairborn, OH 45324.

No pre-registration is required, but you must be in line before 12:00 PM to be served. SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center will distribute pet food, and Five Rivers Health Centers will have a mobile clinic on-site offering free flu vaccines, blood pressure screenings, A1C tests, and help establishing primary care.

Who does the St. Peter Food Pantry serve?
We’re here for income‑eligible households in the 45424, 45404, and 45431 zip codes—neighbors in Huber Heights, Riverside, and Old North Dayton (Montgomery County only). If you’re unsure about eligibility, please reach out. We’re happy to help you figure it out.

First time visiting?
We’re glad you’re considering coming. To make your first visit smooth, please arrive by 11:30am on distribution days so our volunteers have time to complete your application before closing. Bring a photo ID and proof of address, and we’ll walk you through the rest.

We are so blessed to have community partners like the Rip Rap Farmer’s Market, and THANK YOU to everyone who donated!
We took in 147 # of food from the RRFM Bring-a-Bag, Get-a-Bag food drive.
Our mission does not succeed without your generosity!
Thanks again to everyone involved, and thanks to our Friday crew, especially Sue and John, who weighed and sorted the donations.
Well done everyone!

THANK YOU! Our community is amazing! Last night’s food drive brought in more than two full shopping carts of food for the St Peter Food Pantry!!

The food pantry monetary donations online, or you can drop off food donations in person on Friday mornings!

Their greatest need is boxes of cereal and regular sized jars of peanut butter!

And this Thursday, bring a bag of non-expired pantry staples and get a free RRFM tote bag.

- Whole Foods Market Announces a Recall of Select Salsas, Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, and Prepared Food Products

-Kettle Cuisine Recalls Marketside Tomato Bisque Soup Kit – Sold Exclusively at Walmart Stores.

-Indus Foods, LLC, doing business as Gangothri Foods, is recalling approximately 1,626 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) pickled goat and chicken products that were produced without the benefit of inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

-Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is voluntarily recalling a limited number of select flavors of Outshine Fruit Bars due to possible foreign material contamination with glass.
