The last of us have left 4 Quarters. The mists once again close behind us and we all make our way back to the "real" world.

The past week has shown us a great deal about the world we create and how our communities could look. Take that feeling, that energy, back to your regular homes. Teach others how we could live when we all work together. Make a small difference in your worlds. Most will ignore the lessons, but there will be a scant few who will take the lessons to heart. Invite them along for the year of the Androgyne.

It's just a short 51 weeks away, and it will be here before you realize. Start your planning and preparations for when the mists part again and we once again spend another week together with our brothers Between the Worlds.

It’s August and we wanted to take a moment to update folks on the various dates and deadlines for BTW 2026: Year of the Explorer

Workshop & Ritual Submission Deadline is August 15th, 2026 @ 3am EST
- GFG’s big Dance of the 7 Stickies, aka the BTW scheduling meeting, takes place on August 16th, No submissions will be accepted after the deadline.
- A lot of great things have already been submitted and we can’t wait to see what else the community whips up this year! So click those buttons and submit those workshops, rituals, classes, roundtables & more!

- After the Deadline no BTW registrations or Add-Ons will be accepted.

Cancellations & Refunds
- GFG can honor requests for refunds, less a $20 processing fee, until September 1st. After that, any refund requests may not be honored. Please reach out to a GFG Board Member. If we are forced to cancel the event prior to its start, all paid registrants will receive a full refund by mid October.

For those already registered: Keep an eye out on your emails as once we finish the Dance we will be sending out a preliminary schedule and once Registration closes you will receive the BTW Welcome letter.

We are extremely excited about BTW 2026 and can’t wait til the mist parts and the Gates open in a little bit over 6 weeks from today!

BTW Spotlight: Workshops, Rituals & Roundtables

One of the things that makes Between the Worlds such a magical experience is the variety of things to do & experience . Every day has an assortment of Workshops, Rituals, Roundtables & Community Events to choose from. What makes these activities so diverse is that, outside of the BTW staples that happen every BTW, these activities are all submitted/proposed and hosted by members of the BTW Community.

That means the BTW Schedule changes every year based on what community members submit to GFG for scheduling.

And because the schedule reflects our community chances are you can discover all sorts of different pathworks, beliefs and learning levels throughout the week.

Well “What are the BTW staples you speak of?” you ask

Every BTW has events that have become recurring parts of the BTW experience.

Monday: Opening Meeting, Opening Ritual, No Talent Show
Wednesday: KOMOS -The Dionysian Ritual & Dance
Thursday: The Fae Gala
Friday: Main Ritual, Keynote Presentation, Musical Performance

“What can we propose?”
The sky is the limit! As a Pagan Event focused on Q***r Male Spirituality we try not to limit what types and topics we schedule. Variety is the spice of life and our community is diverse and beautiful.
Some folks want to share their path work, others want to host a round table discussion on Polyamory, another a ritual exploring sacred kink.
Some members regularly propose workshops and experiences that reflect that year's Aspect of Q***rness ( the Explorer in 2026 )
The more variety the better.

At GFG’s yearly “Dance of the 7 Stickies” is when the grove gathers all the threads of programming and somehow weaves it all together to create the magical Schedule of BTW.

Our hope is always to get all proposals scheduled, but sometimes we don't have the available slots or multiple workshops are very similar to each other. We always reach out to hosts in these instances and try to figure something out. We try our very best to create a diverse, but not overly packed, schedule.

Blessing BTW Community!
Green Faerie Grove here with another update/change to the BTW event and we wanted to get this information out to the community ASAP.

Workshifts have always been a fickle beast to nail the balance between “This is Vacation” and the Community Centric structure of Between the Worlds. As the size of our community has fluctuated we’ve had to make adjustments to Workshifts in order to ensure that the community is taken care of and the things that need doing get done.

With the transition to 4 Quarters we once again adjusted, tweaked and modified workshifts to meet the needs of the new location, size of the community and our contractual obligations to 4 Quarters.

That last part about our contractual obligations to 4 Quarters is what has prompted GFG to deeply discuss and ultimately make revisions to how workshifts function. This isn’t something we wanted to do, but instead have to do in order to preserve our relationship and obligations to our Home for those 5 magical nights.

With that being said, beginning in 2026 workshifts will function as such:

For now we are suspending the caveat where vending, hosting a workshop or ritual counts as a workshift.
However, each attended (under 65) only needs to fulfill 1 “shift”
Auction/Raffle is reserved for members of the community who are 55-65 years old or have ADA needs
Auction shifts are done during Lunch and Dinner
You shift is for 1 day: Lunch & dinner
Every other attendee must take on 1 Kitchen Shift
A kitchen Shift starts 1 hour before the meal is served and ends when Holly/Staff releases you after cleanup.
For example if you take Tuesday dinner as your shift you show up to the kitchen at 4:30, you’ll eat with us, then go back to the kitchen to help clean up.
No other workshift required outside of the kitchen.
All other workshifts are on the back burner until all kitchen shifts are filled

We understand this may seem inconvenient and a big ask, but staffing the kitchen is one of the biggest contractual obligations we have with 4 Quarters. We want to keep maintaining and building a happy healthy relationship with the folk of the Land. The last couple years at 4 Quarters have shown us how the BTW Community comes together and makes magic happen.

There is a silver lining to all of this and that is the hope that now we have our roots set down at 4 Quarters and we are making every attempt to grow the size and scope of our community. As BTW takes hold in its new home and we begin to grow, it's likely that we will re-examine this change and make adjustments based on the size of BTW.

The Ganesha Scholarship Fund

In an effort to expand the community of Between the Worlds, make our event available to a wider audience and assist those in need the BTW Scholarship Program was created.

In honor of CrystalBear, a brother of the BTW community who passed beyond the veil in 2004, we have named the BTW scholarship the Ganesha Scholarship Fund, after the elephant-headed Hindu god who is the remover of obstacles. There are a limited number of scholarships available to cover half of the entry fee at the time of registration. Ganesha Scholarships are designed to help attendees who might not have the opportunity to come to the gathering due to financial hardship.

Ganesha Scholarships are awarded based on an evaluation of all applications received before registration closes. Selection is made on a combination of factors including financial need, diversity, scholastic intent, and willingness to contribute meaningfully to the community.

The Scholarship covers 50% of your Registration Costs, not including add-ons such as Bunks or Tshirts.
