IAFF Local 2926 is the local bargaining unit for Huber Heights Firefighters(Montgomery, and Miami Counties, Ohio) Local 2926 is comprised of 42 members, including:
10 Lieutenants, 32 Firefighters/Paramedics. These members help protect approx. 22 square miles and approx. 6,000 annual calls for assistance. Our members provide Fire, EMS, Vehicle Extrication, Rope Rescue, Water Rescue, Haz-mat, Fire

Prevention. Many of our members are on Dayton Regional Haz-mat Team, Ohio Task force 1, and Ohio Region 3 Strike Team. These members work an array of shifts, comprised of: 3 rotating shifts of 24 hours on-duty 48 hours off-duty, 40 hours (7a-4p)

Thanks to City of Vandalia Division of Fire Butler Twp Professional FF Local 4491 and Riverside for coming out to a great day of training and assisting with a structure fire in town thay interrupted todays evolutions. Looking forward to more in the coming weeks.

And a special shout out to the men on Riverside Firefighters Local 2938 Engine 6 for giving a lift to one of our own to the fire! We appreciate the hard charging attitude to provide safety and assistance to the people of Huber Heights

This charity golf outing will bring together golfers, local businesses, and community members to raise funds for A Special Wish Foundation, helping grant wishes to children facing life-threatening illnesses.

We are so proud to be part of this incredible step forward in emergency care. Our department is now carrying whole blood for EMS responses — a lifesaving advancement that brings hospital-level trauma care straight to the scene.

When seconds count, access to whole blood can mean the difference between life and death for patients experiencing severe trauma. This capability ensures our community receives the highest standard of care, right when it’s needed most.
