Trivia Tuesday!
While there are a handful of animals that may try to eat skunks, there is one that is the predominant predator. Comment below with which one you think it is!
The answer to last week's trivia: All owls hoot. It was false. All owls make vocal sounds, but not all of them hoot. For example, the barn owl screams; screech owls trill; short-eared owls bark, scream, or whine.

Trivia Tuesday!
True or false? All owls make a hooting sound. Comment your guess below!
The answer to last week's trivia question: What do opossums NOT use their tail for? It was hanging upside down. Despite the misconceptions, adult opossums become too heavy to be fully supported by their tail alone. Baby opossums, called joeys, are briefly able to hang from their tail because they have a large strength-to-weight ratio, but once they become juveniles, they lose the ability. Instead, their tails act as a 5th limb for climbing and a way for their body to thermoregulate through the narrowing of blood vessels, which is called vasoconstriction.
