We've added a new Fall class, Introduction to Inkle Weaving! In this beginner-friendly class, you'll learn how to weave on an inkle loom to create a key chain and strap. This class will cover how to warp the inkle loom, weave on the loom, and finish your weaving.⁠
⁠
By the end of the class, you will have woven a keychain (which will still be attached to the loom). Leftover warp can be woven to make a belt or strap.⁠
⁠
The inkle loom is a great place to begin to weave bands. It is portable, straightforward to warp, and plain weave structure is easy to learn.⁠
⁠
Class fee includes one-month rental of the inkle loom to take home and finish your weaving. 🙌⁠
⁠
📅 Date: November 22, 2026⁠
🕙️Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm⁠
⁠
Level: Beginner: NO previous weaving experience is required⁠
Materials Fee: $5 payable to the teacher on the first day of class⁠

We’re so excited to tell you we will be moving this October! ⁠

At our new location, we’ll be able to offer even more classes, workshops, study groups, meetings, and other social gatherings.⁠
⁠
We look forward to the growth this big step will bring us and weaving and fiber arts education in Houston.⁠
⁠
Our new home is 11271 Richmond Ave. , Houston, TX 77082. Not only does this location allow us to expand and offer more classes, but it has significantly more parking than our current location.⁠
⁠
Beginning October 30, classes will take place at our new location. Any classes scheduled prior to October 30 will meet at 1425 Blalock. If you have any questions about the location of your class, please reach out to [email protected]. ⁠
