💐 May’s Yard of the Month is 703 West Cottage.
🌹This attractive brick cottage has a pretty mix of plants, complementing each other and the brick home nicely. The Peggy Martin Rose on the fence frames everything beautifully. The flower pots along all the front windows are particularly cute and, per the homeowner, super low maintenance with their own sprinkler system. 💦

A special visitor on the Norhill esplanade this morning. This white ibis was snacking along with many others on the freshly mowed grass.

April’s Yard of the Month goes to 4606 Pine Ridge St. The home has a charming garden with an almost entirely white theme, using many varieties of pretty white flowers and variegated greenery. It makes for a wonderfully calm and relaxing entrance to this elegant home.

Great neighborhood meeting tonight with wonderful speaker Barry Ward (tree whisperer) from Trees for Houston! Fun had by all. The tree giveaway from Barry still happening . . . A few dogwoods, shumard oaks, and holly trees available for pick up! Come on by and pick one up. Let the tree plantings begin . . . 😍 🌲🌳🪾😍

At our NNA monthly meeting at 6:30pm on Tuesday March 31st, Barry Ward, Executive Director of Tree for Houston, will be our guest speaker. He will discuss diseases in Crepe Myrtles and general tree care. His presentation will start at 7pm - you won't want to miss it . . . He will be bringing free trees to distribute!
Neighbors are welcome to join at 7pm for his presentation, as well as possibility of picking up free tree.

Happy New Year and congratulations to January’s Yard of the month: 916 Key Street.
This yard has such a wonderful blanket of flowers despite facing North! Fragrant pink Drift roses are abundant - especially for this time of year. The Snow-N -Summer Asiatic Jasmine tumbles over the edging rocks. An overall beautiful, lush display of color highlighting a gorgeous brick bungalow.
