Food Drive In Remembrance of the Victims of the Holodomors
This November, we honor the memory of millions of Ukrainians who were starved to death during the Holodomors - genocides created by the Soviet regime to break the spirit of a nation.
Today, as we remember them, we choose to respond with compassion, solidarity, and action.
To honor their memory, UNWLA Branch 118 is partnering with the Houston Food Bank to help families in need here in our community.
Because no one should ever face hunger - not then, not now, not ever again.

💛 Why This Matters
Every can, every box, every item you donate becomes more than food - it becomes a gesture of remembrance, a statement of unity, and a promise that we will never allow history to repeat itself.
Your support keeps their memory alive while helping families facing hardship today.
If you’re unable to donate food, you can still make a meaningful impact.
We also have an online fundraiser where every contribution helps.
Just $1 provides 3 meals for families in need.
