The National Urban League Conference not only provided us with insightful panel discussions, workshops and plenary sessions but it also provided the opportunity to interact with vendors at the Reconnect Lounge AND an opportunity to do what we do best… volunteer at the Community Day/Expo giving out book bags to children.

We were fortunate enough to have 6 members from HAULYP who completed volunteer shifts to help keep the conference moving smoothly.

The Reconnect Lounge was a great place to get glam, take headshots, participate in mediation, podcast areas… so many different experiences! Looking forward to 2027!

For HAULYP, the National Urban League Conference is a way for us to be fed. To be in the room with other change makers who we can learn from and also give advice where we can. We work. We listen. We engage. We bring all the knowledge back home to continue to empower communities and change lives.
