Free basic veterinary care such as annual immunizations, vaccinations, and flea control. Free foster care for the animals in the event the owner goes into the hospital. Health and

educational information, including "safe pet" guidelines to pet owners. Works with businesses in the community to provide free grooming. Informs the community about the healing benefits of pet ownership
Spaying & neutering procedures paid for.

We were saddened to hear of the recent death of long time Pet Patrol volunteer and former Board member, Grace Horton Olmos on February 17, 2026. Grace was the owner of Carlisle's Salon for Pets where she pampered local pets for many years in the Montrose area. Our hearts are with her husband and twin daughters. We will always remember her with love and thanks for all she brought to the community and The Pet Patrol since its early years. Godspeed Grace we know you had a warm welcome at the bridge!
