We are dedicated to encouraging people to come to know and love Jesus Christ through the study of Scripture. We believe that Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)

We believe that “salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 )

We believe “if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves

and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8)

We believe “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”(1 John 1:9)

We believe that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” and can fully redeem and powerfully use even those who consider they have been “the worst.” (1 Timothy 1:15)

We believe God “is patient, not wanting any to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

We believe that all scripture is “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that every believer in Christ is the “temple of the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

We believe we have been “baptized by one Spirit into one body” (1Corinthians 12:13) and recognize the value and equality of all members of the body of Christ. We are “all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:29) We actively support the unity of all believers eclipsing all denominational, economic, or ethnic diversities. We believe we have “different kinds of gifts but the same Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:4)

We believe that “our citizenship is in heaven and we eagerly await a Savior from there the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so they will be like His glorious body.” (Philippians 3:21) “And so shall we forever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

Until then, we believe we are to strive to “live holy and Godly lives as we look forward to the day of God.”(2 Peter 3:11,12)

Join us for Align this July!

If you've been wanting a more intentional prayer life, we invite you to join us as a community for Align: 31 Days of Prayer Aligned with God's Desires by Beth Moore. Together, we'll spend a month engaging with God through prayer and Scripture, allowing His Word to shape our prayers and align our desires with His.

Beth said recently of Align, "It might be one of my favorite things I've ever done at Living Proof."

There's something especially powerful about coupling Bible study with prayer. We're not just learning about God, but actively engaging with Him about His priorities.

If you've completed Align before, pull out your journal and join us again. If you're new to the study, we're making journals available this year at cost (plus shipping)! We would love as many of you as possible to participate with us.

Head to the link below to get your journal now so you're ready to pray with us in July 🙏

Happy birthday, dearest Beth!

Despite the absolute downpour we had in Houston on Tuesday, we were able to celebrate the birthday of our joy-filled leader! In fact, Beth shared that she was born in the middle of a huge storm, so those types of days make her smile.

Happy birthday, Beth! We are so glad to be doing ministry with you.

The book of Job is full of uncomfortable truths. It's a book to sit with, wrestle with, and bring before our God who is beyond our understanding.

In this five-week series with Beth Moore, the text does not rush to resolve grief. No matter what season of life you're in, you'll find depth of artistry and mystery in Job in ways that invite and teach us to sit within discomfort.

Our free online teaching series on the book of Job launches today! ✨

The Book of Job will leave us with more questions than answers. And that is the invitation itself: to move into deeper intimacy with God through Scripture, beyond the certainty our finite minds desire.

“In a journey of faith, we are challenged to navigate a relationship with this God we cannot see nor fully comprehend and certainly cannot control, period. Can we trust someone we have no capacity to control? We have crises of faith so disturbing to us that we feel we can't tell others about them, yet we desperately need to know we are not alone. So aware is our God of this condition, he made certain we would not only find company but find it in the actual biblical canon itself.” –Beth Moore

This month, we’ll release one teaching session each Monday at 8am CT as Beth leads us through this fascinating book of Scripture. Whether you’re studying with your church, gathering with a small group, or listening on your own, we’d love for you to join us!

We’ve also created free listening guides to accompany the series as you study along each week. Head to the link below to download the first listening guide.
PLEASE NOTE: You cannot download the pdf from Facebook. You'll need to open the link in a web browser.

Sometimes, a stretch of miles when God seems gloriously obvious can be followed by months of wondering where he’s gone. God has his own objectives for each season of our walks, and some of them will remain a mystery until we see his face.

If you haven't done Beth's newest Bible study, Walking With God, we invite you to do it! It's worth the journey.

From Beth:

“Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit,” says the Lord of Hosts. Zech 4:6

One of the most life-altering practices the Lord taught me along the way is that empowerment is not about achieving but about receiving.

This mindset has made dramatic difference in my home, marriage, family, relationships, writing, teaching, leading, serving, preparing and resting. “What I need, Lord, only you can supply. I look to you.”

We don’t have to clamor for it or stress and sweat and panic over it. With humility and faith we hold out empty hands before the Lord, bring our need and thank him in advance that he’s going to give us everything required for us to abound. We posture ourselves to receive.

The challenge for us in this age is that posturing ourselves to receive takes some daily stillness and focus and continual openness to the Lord. It takes meditating on his words, watching and waiting upon the Lord.

But then, after he’s supplied what we need, we come to the marvelous realization we not only received what we sought. We received something far surpassing. We received him.
