AKA South Central Region South Central Region Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

The South Central Region is proud to be the 3rd largest region out of the ten regions of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The region is composed of more than 6,000 service orientated members with more than 100 undergraduate and graduate chapters located in the four-state region of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas.

MRD on the Move!💕💚

The South Central Region continues to lead with purpose, connection, and sisterhood.

On August 15, our regional director attended the 5th Annual East Texas Leadership Retreat in Texarkana, Texas, demonstrating her commitment to engaging our small and rural chapters.

Centered on “The Heart of R.E.A.L. Sisterhood,” the retreat brought members together for meaningful dialogue and collaboration. During a fireside chat, MRD answered questions and clarified regional targets and objectives.

Hosted by Kappa Xi Omega, Nu Omega, Epsilon Zeta Omega, and Gamma Omicron Omega, and supported by undergraduate hostesses from Phi, Alpha Tau, and Zeta Chi, the retreat celebrated leadership and sisterhood in action.

Also in attendance were Sister Tamika Tutt, NETX Cluster Coordinator, and Sister Keesha Wilson Smith, former South Central Representative to the International Committee.

Together, we continue championing service, empowering sisterhood, and advancing the work of the South Central Region.💗💚

Wichita Falls, what a visit! 💗💚

Our Regional Director recently visited Wichita Falls, where sisterhood, service, and connection were at the heart of the experience.

She spent time with Rho Nu Chapter, a small chapter with the BIG heart of a champion! 🏆💗💚 She also presented a donation to support their project to establish a dedicated room on campus, investing in the continued growth and experience of our undergraduate sisters.

The visit continued with Omicron Epsilon Omega Chapter, where our Regional Director joined the sisters for a meaningful fireside chat during their retreat. It was a beautiful time to connect, share, and engage in sisterly conversation.

Two chapters. One incredible visit. One powerful sisterhood. 💗💚
