We had a great meeting last Tuesday and covered lots of topics. Dont forget to ask a member if they would like to fulfill a leadership position and you can volunteer for one yourself.(we need a photographer) It is a good way to get to know people. Marge Lentricchia told us about Linus Connection and the need for quilts is great. A lady named Phyllis showed us the dresses she made for orphanages in South Africa. They were just darling.

So very sorry, but the January meeting has been cancelled due to the cold temps. It will be warm during the day which will melt the ice, but will drop below freezing at the end of the meeting so it will be a dangerous dive home. Sorry for any inconvenience.

We all had a jolly time at the Christmas social on Dec 9. The decor was so pretty, we each got a handmade bookmark at our place and also a wooden ornament courtesy of Jen Winborn. Then, there was the food, excellent selections, no one went hungry. And the cookie exchange was so massive no one knew which to pick first. But there were bags to take some home so you didnt have to choose. There was a fun gift exchange with some stealing and laughter going on. The cute Christmas Trees on the tables were raffled off as door prizes at the end of the night. Many thanks to the wonderful organizers, Sarah, Debbie, Lindsey and Laurie who did an outstanding job! Have a very Merry Christmas (or whatever you celebrate) and Happy New Year. See you for our Jan 27 mtg.
