Oaklawn Rotary is back on the beat, serving our community once again! Today, we had the privilege of serving lunch to our friends at the Community Resources Center. Oaklawn Rotary members Brian Jones and Lee Kathryn York joined forces with two volunteers from Ed Sanders’ team at Sanders Supply to help make the day a success.
Together, we served nearly 100 people, sharing not only a meal but also fellowship, kindness, and community spirit. We are grateful for every opportunity to give back and make a difference in the lives of others.💙 Service Above Self in action!

💜 Celebrating Cancer Survivors Month 💜
At Oaklawn Rotary, we were honored to hear from representatives of The Our Promise House , a respite for patients traveling into Hot Springs for cancer treatment.
Their mission is truly inspiring. They provide a home away from home for individuals receiving cancer treatment who may be traveling from outside the area. They also assist with critical needs such as transportation, gas, lodging, and other resources that help ease the burden of treatment for patients and their families.
As we recognize Cancer Survivors Month this June, we celebrate the courage, strength, and resilience of every survivor. We also honor the caregivers, medical professionals, and organizations that walk alongside patients during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Thank you to our guest speakers for sharing the incredible work being done in our community and for reminding us that hope, compassion, and support can make all the difference.

What a truly wonderful time today we had with over 50 children from our community at Oaklawn Rotary Kids’ Day! We fished, danced, played games, and loved on these kiddos! THIS is another reason WHY WE do what we do! A special thanks to the crew from LifeNet and Lake Hamilton Fire Department for sharing your time today!

The Oaklawn Rotary proudly celebrated Arkansas Derby Week with an exciting and informative meeting! We had the pleasure of hearing from special guest speakers Matt Dinerman, the Oaklawn Track Announcer, and Lang Whitman, Oaklawn’s expert Handicapper.

They delivered an in-depth and engaging breakdown of the horses competing in this year’s Arkansas Derby, offering valuable insights, analysis, and behind-the-scenes knowledge that truly brought the upcoming race to life.

It was a fantastic way to kick off the excitement of Derby Week and a great experience for everyone in attendance! 🐎
