📣Dansville YMCA Pool Update! 📣
At the Y, we are committed to strengthening spirit, mind, and body for all by creating spaces where people can achieve their goals, build supportive relationships, and find a true sense of belonging.
After careful consideration, we want to share an important update regarding our pool schedule. Due to a combination of factors - including staffing challenges, upcoming pool maintenance and construction, and scheduling limitations - we will no longer be able to offer morning lap swim or evening open swim in the high school pool.
We understand this change may be disappointing. Please know this decision was not made lightly. Our team explored every option before reaching this outcome. In addition, the limited number of members using morning lap swim compared with the staffing required to operate safely was also a contributing factor.
While these swim times will no longer be available, swim opportunities remain through scheduled programs such as:
🐠 Swim lessons
💦 Kids Night Out events
🌊 Family swim opportunities
🏊♀️ Other scheduled aquatics activities
