Today, four of our members attended a Kiwanis District 14 leadership training right here in Hopkinsville! Congratulations to Ashton Winfield, Becky Durham, Chandler Goolsby Ladd, and Troy Adams for completing leadership training today alongside other District 14 clubs! It was another great day to be a Kiwanian!

🌲 The Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville was pleased to welcome Elaine Jackson and Steve Nolan from Friends of Land Between the Lakes as our guest speakers this week. They shared about the organization’s mission to support education, conservation, recreation, and environmental stewardship throughout the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, as well as the many opportunities available for visitors to connect with nature and history in our region.

We were also honored to host members of the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club and the Clarksville Hilldale Kiwanis Club for a special interclub meeting. The fellowship and collaboration between Kiwanis clubs is a wonderful reminder of our shared commitment to serving children and communities throughout our region.

Thank you to our guest speakers and visiting Kiwanians for making this week’s meeting both informative and enjoyable. We appreciate the opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen the bonds of service that unite us all. 💙💛

⚾️ The Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville was excited to welcome Hoptown Hoppers Baseball as our guest speakers at last week’s meeting!

We appreciate the Hoptown Hoppers for joining us and for their continued commitment to providing family-friendly entertainment and fostering community pride in Hopkinsville. We look forward to another exciting season at the ballpark!

⛳️ THANK YOU from the Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville!

We want to extend a huge thank you to the 20 teams who participated in our 5th Annual Golf Scramble, Western Hills Golf Course for allowing us to use their course, and to all of our incredible sponsors who helped make this event a success!

Your support, generosity, and community spirit allow us to continue serving children and families throughout our community through Kiwanis programs, scholarships, youth leadership initiatives, and service projects.

Events like this would not be possible without the businesses, organizations, and individuals who continually invest in making Hopkinsville and Christian County a better place for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who played, sponsored, volunteered, and supported this year’s tournament. We truly appreciate each of you and look forward to seeing everyone again next year! ⛳️

Today we would like to recognize the outstanding accomplishments and hard work of the Sinking Fork Elementary School K-Kids this year!

These young leaders have truly demonstrated what it means to serve their school and community through a variety of meaningful projects and volunteer efforts, including:

🔔 Ringing the bell for the The Salvation Army
💌 Making Valentine’s cards for local nursing home residents
🐾 Volunteering and donating food to the Christian County Animal Shelter
🥫 Organizing a food drive
🗑 Participating in community trash pickup efforts🎟 Helping count tickets for the SFE Spring Fling📖 Creating a special cookbook for cafeteria staff featuring students’ recipe ideas

We are so proud of these students for their compassion, creativity, teamwork, and commitment to helping others. The future is bright with leaders like these serving our community!

The Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville was honored to welcome Barry Payne, area representative for West Kentucky FCA - Area 3, his wife Jettie Payne, and new FCA Ambassador Kallie Haley as guest speakers at this week’s meeting.

They shared about the mission and impact of West Kentucky Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the incredible work being done to reach coaches and athletes through faith, character-building, leadership, and service. They also highlighted how FCA continues to positively influence students and communities across Western Kentucky through camps, school ministries, team huddles, and mentorship opportunities.

They also shared a bittersweet moment as this morning they met for their last ever huddle in Hopkinsville High School.

We appreciate Barry, Jettie, and Kallie for joining us and for their dedication to investing in the lives of young people throughout our region!
