After an all-nighter serving BBQ for 1-320, we were right back at it this morning — and you know we had to flip some pancakes to start the day off right for our soldiers. It’s always an honor to serve those who serve our country. Thank you for your dedication and sacrifice. We’re proud to support you!

Thank you Krusteaz for supplying us with the batter!

It was a special day yesterday as we spent time with the Soldiers and Families of the 2nd Battalion, 32nd Field Artillery Regiment. We started the morning flipping pancakes and serving breakfast as they prepared for deployment.

After the emotional goodbyes, we packed up and joined the Soldiers to provide snacks, coffee, and drinks while they waited for their flight to depart for Fort Campbell.

To all the brave men and women deploying, know that we are proud of you and grateful for your service. We look forward to welcoming you home after another successful mission. Stay safe, and know you have the support of a grateful nation behind you.

🥞🇺🇸 Good Morning from the MAC!

We’re honored to be out here this morning grilling up delicious pancakes, generously donated by Krusteaz, for the Soldiers of 2nd Battalion, 32nd Field Artillery Regiment as they prepare for their next Rendezvous with Destiny.

It’s a small way for us to say thank you for their service and sacrifice. We wish these Soldiers a safe and successful mission and look forward to welcoming them home.

Tonight was nothing short of extraordinary.

The Southwestern Kentucky Military Affairs Committee was honored to host “Fire & Smoke: A Taste of Southwestern Kentucky,” a benefit dinner supporting the Trigg County Veterans Memorial.

Five executive chefs from across our region came together to create a once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience, generously donating their time, talent, and resources for this worthy cause. A special thank you to Camo Caravan, The Crusty Pig, Burgasm, and Chef Lynn Adams, for delivering an unforgettable meal that showcased the very best of Southwestern Kentucky.

We would also like to thank Casey Jones Distillery, Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, The Trophy House, Eagles Farms Meats, Ruffled Willow, and Western Ky Framing, LLC for making this evening possible. Your partnership and support were instrumental to the success of this event.

Most importantly, thank you to the community leaders, supporters, and guests who joined us tonight. Your commitment to honoring our veterans and preserving their legacy is inspiring.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, sponsored, cooked, served, and supported this endeavor. Together, we are building a lasting tribute to the men and women who have served our nation.

🇺🇸 Stay tuned for a future post where we’ll share the impact and final results of this incredible evening.

The Southwestern Kentucky Military Affairs Committee was honored to have our Assistant Director participate in a Career Pathways Panel at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hopkinsville-Christian County

Students from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky had the opportunity to engage with professionals from a variety of career fields, asking thoughtful questions about career choices, day-to-day responsibilities, educational requirements, and the journeys that led us to where we are today.

What made this experience truly special was hearing directly from these incredible young people about their dreams and aspirations. From future Soldiers eager to serve our nation, to aspiring train conductors, architects, singers, songwriters, and countless other professions, the passion, curiosity, and determination on display were inspiring.

The panel was more than just a conversation about careers—it was an opportunity to encourage, mentor, and help guide the next generation as they begin making important decisions about their futures. We were equally excited to learn about the colleges, trade schools, and career paths these students are considering as they work toward achieving their goals.

Investing in our youth is investing in the future of our communities, our Commonwealth, and our nation. We are incredibly grateful for the invitation and for the important work they do every day to empower young people.

The future is bright, and after spending time with these remarkable students, we have never been more optimistic about what lies ahead.
