Talk about HYPE!!! Come early. Ribbon Cutting starts at 10am, then explanation of space, tours, food and leave with all the things God has brought to us. 💚

If you can help receive donations, log, organize and prepare the space on Thursday, June 4, we need every person who can come from 9-5pm (or later!!) We cannot convey the amount of donations we need to receive and organize in the next day. 🙏🙏

Dejuana, a lifelong pediatric cancer nurse, walked through our doors carrying exactly what we needed: an Orbi WiFi system for our Feed BHM Hoover location, where internet service has long been a challenge.

When we thanked her and asked if someone had told her about our WiFi struggles, she smiled and said no. In fact, she tried to donate elsewhere, but they did not have time to receive her donation. The unexpected detour led her straight to Grace Klein Community.

What followed was more than a donation. We shared stories, shed a few tears, and reflected on the many ways God provides, often through people willing to listen and follow His direction.

Our team received better connectivity and more importantly, we were reminded when people say “yes” to God’s prompting, incredible things happen.

Thank you, Dejuana, for your generosity, your servant’s heart, and for being part of the beautiful reminder God is always at work. ❤️

On Monday we kicked off the very first day of our Elevate Summer Internship Program here at GKC. God has given each of these young students individual skills we are genuinely blessed to see and cultivate in real time.

For the first day, interns helped distribute our huge blessing of potatoes, plus additional produce and meat for our recipients. Interns also worked together to create beautiful scripture cards.

Surprise household/decor giveaway tomorrow at Feed BHM Bessemer from 9am until all donations are shared on June 3rd at 2701 Morgan Rd 35022.

We have to log in all donations so if you come early, you will have to wait until we finish. We will not offer any holds. We will do our best to welcome shoppers from 9am.

God is giving in abundance as He is clearly preparing us to open a new location. The floodgates are open and we will be moving product tomorrow to FeedBHM Clay as well.

Volunteers! If you can help reset the Community Outreach Hall from 1-5pm on Friday, June 5th at 2701 Morgan Rd 35022 we would be honored to receive your help. You can also help take some loads to FeedBHM Clay June 3 and 4th and set up there, if your time permits.

We have outgrown FeedBHM Clay and we have not even opened yet. 😂 God is funny!!
