🏰✨ WISH GRANTED! 🏰✨

Lucy communicates nonverbally, and there is a clear joy in her eyes when she encounters Disney characters, music and movies. Her family knew her wish would be Disney-related, and the anticipation gave them something to look forward to.

On her wish, Lucy felt seen by the characters’ care for her, and during the fireworks, her family reflected on the gift of every day with their child.

“For our family, this wish became one of the greatest gifts we’ve ever received," Lucy's mom reflected. "For one incredible week, Make-A-Wish gave us something different. It gave us uninterrupted joy. It gave us the freedom to feel like nothing was impossible to do. It gave us time to simply be a family, to laugh more than we cried and to celebrate Lucy for the beautiful little girl she is.”

We're honored to help grant wishes like Lucy's that allow the chance to dream and bring reminders of the gift of life. 💙✨

The 10th anniversary of the Trailblaze Challenge is officially in the books, and together, we raised $1,251,988 to help make wishes come true for children across Alabama! 💙

This milestone means even more because, thanks to our incredible Trailblazers, sponsors, partners, volunteers, donors, staff and supporters, the 10th Trailblaze Challenge became the largest event in Make-A-Wish Alabama’s history and the most any Trailblaze Challenge program has ever raised nationwide. What an incredible way to celebrate 10 years of going the distance for wishes!

To every hiker who trained, fundraised and pushed through those tough miles, and to everyone who helped make this year possible: THANK YOU! America's Thrift Donations is now open at 11310 Memorial Pkwy SW! Simply drive up, drop off your gently used clothing and household items, and know your donations are helping make life-changing wishes come true for children with critical illnesses across Alabama. ✨

⭐️ THANK YOU, SOUTH ALABAMA! ⭐️

With the help of WKRG News 5 and the South Alabama community, the “Wishes Can’t Wait” telethon raised a record-breaking $30,071, more than tripling our goal!

These funds will go directly toward granting more life-changing wishes for children in your state when they need them most. Wishes truly can't wait, and we're thankful for everyone who took action for wish kids by making our phones ring, texting to give or donating online.
