We are a non-profit organization that offers free support groups to individuals and families, education and training programs, and consumer advocacy.

We are dedicated to helping to improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by mental health conditions through support, education and advocacy. We also have a volunteer program where members work in the office, on special events, and other activities.

NAMI Western Massachusetts would like to thank the "Be Kind to Your Mind" Foundation of Agawam MA for their generous gift of $1,000 to our organization. The "Be Kind to Your Mind" Foundation was set-up to honor Kayla LeBlanc who passed away at 28 years old. We are very grateful for their support.

In 2008, the U.S. House of Representatives proclaimed July as Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. Campbell was a champion for mental health education and support among individuals of diverse communities. A leading African American author, she co-founded NAMI Urban Los Angeles and received NAMI’s 2003 Outstanding Media Award for Literature. She died in 2006.

It may be a yukky day today, but Sunday the 17th is looking fantastic! Please join us as we take a walk in support of all those affected by mental health conditions in our community. 1 in 5 people are touched by mental health issues. We will have much to do, plus some fantastic raffle prizes. Enjoy beautiful Stanley Park and support the mission of NAMI Western Mass. Hope to see you there!!!
