Wild Earth

Wild Earth Wild Earth ignites transformative connections and creativity rooted in the natural world.

We make nature accessible for over 4,000 youth and adults annually through school partnerships, summer camps, and community-based programs. At Wild Earth, children & adults head into the woods and off the trails where they’re meeting plants and animals, learning wilderness skills, creating natural crafts, and building deep connections with friends and inspiring mentors.

Fermentation is one of humanity’s oldest forms of transformation, turning fruit, plants, wild yeast, and time into something worth sharing. 🍇✨

Join us for a two-day hands-on workshop exploring homemade wines, wild fermentation, native microflora, and botanical flavoring techniques. We’ll harvest, ferment, taste, and create together, and you’ll leave with bottles of your own creations.

Spots are limited. Registration info in bio.

Wild Earth's 2-day workshop that will teach methods of fermentation and will guide you through crafting your own beverages!

Our CITs spent a day in the field preparing for summer camp, building leadership skills, practicing observation, and exploring together in the woods.

While out on a scavenger hunt, they spotted a baby fawn tucked quietly in the forest. A pretty special moment to kick off the season. 🦌

We had a great time this weekend! 🌿

We loved seeing kids get creative with seed art, painting, and other nature-inspired activities throughout the day.

It was especially meaningful to connect with kids from our Kingston guided recess and afterschool programs and meet their families!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and joined in the fun!

🌧️✨ At Ropes last month, we made it through our first rainy evening—warm, dry, and together!

The group chose a slower night and it was exactly what we needed. We started with a powerful Toni Morrison story that sparked reflection and gratitude. Then we learned and wove a four-strand braid, carved white pine, tended the fire, and shared meaningful conversation.

Dinner was a surprise hit. Mac and cheese with chicken, made from scratch. No leftovers 😅

Grateful for these simple, connected evenings. This month we'll end this program (until the Fall) with our 2-night overnight. We're hyped!

We don't record many videos in the field, but we captured a few fun moments from Nature Everywhere Afterschool! Yes, our staff have fun too 😎

We still have spots remaining for this afterschool program!
