On October 6th we hosted our Princesses & Pizza event & it was amazing!
We dreamed of creating an experience that would bring royalty to life, offering both kids and parents a magical and unforgettable day to cherish forever—and that’s precisely what we did. Not only did the event spread joy to many, but we also raised over $4,800 for Gifts From the Heart For Downs! We are incredibly grateful and proud of the outcome.
This was our first experience organizing an event of this magnitude, and we couldn't have accomplished it without help. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our title sponsor, Toms Repair Shop, along with our supporting sponsors: Lisikatos Tattoo, Mountain Rest Electric, and O & R Painting. A special shoutout to our raffle donors— Rust & Stardust Photography, Gina Marie'z Academy of Performing Arts, LLC, and Little Miss Spa. Your support means everything to us!
We also want to express our gratitude to Chef Lydia for generously providing the delightful cupcakes, and to Kaylyn Libolt for making the gluten and dairy-free dessert option. Thanks to Elaina, Amaya, and Alanna Luyando for their help with setup, cleanup, and managing event stations. We appreciate Meghan Miller for volunteering her time and skills to add a touch of sparkly tinsel to our event.
A big thank you goes out to Tommy and Cassie Johnson, Nick Johnson, Brooke Martinez, Mark McLean Jr, Karen Morehouse, Michele Adams and Judy Molly, and the wonderful Bruferhof women for their assistance at the event stations and ensuring everything flowed smoothly. We are also grateful to Renée Falanga Brenner and Serena for their generous contributions to the organization and help with cleanup!
Last but certainly not least, we wish to thank Matthew and Meghan Goodnow, as well as the entire Gardiner Fire and Rescue - New York, for providing us with such a fantastic venue for our event. We simply could not have done this without the support of all these incredible individuals!
Stay tuned for our next big event, it is already it the works!
